down here in washington. a lovely sight for those of us who like snow. i do. president obama begins the push for immigration reform in las vegas next week. lisa sylvester is monitoring that. the other top stories in "the situation room," what's the latest, lisa? >> aids to the president said they will sketch out his plans and improving border security in cracking down on employers who hire undocumented workers. the most controversial part of the plan is creating a passion way to citizenship for illegal immigrants. he is expected to get more specifics in the state of the union address. a cia officer will spend 30 months in proven for revealing the identity of an agent. his own attorney admitted he was thoughtless in leaking the administration. that was betraying a solemn trust. mitt romney is in washington for the first time since last month's lunch. he and his wife are expected to attend the dinner by power brokers and business elite. president obama was at the dinner in 2009 and last year, but not clear if the president will be there tomorrow. he will receive the ipod award on may

magic of the obama machine. there was no counterweight. >> if i could follow quickly -- macro politics -- we saw it in this election, and i was shocked by it. macro politics has got to be filtered down into micro targeting. we do not have a national election anymore. we did not have a national election for president this year. we had an election of about eight states. the obama people were smart enough to figure that out. republicans were not. they went into those eight states and mined data. they did it on facebook, twitter, in all these places. they killed us. they spent tens of millions of dollars -- chris christie's top aide went to him in june and said he had been looking at obama's records and that they were in trouble. millions and millions and millions of dollars finding people. it was the 2012 equivalent of what i did in 1994. i had no money, so i got the super republican list, and for a year, i went door-to-door and walked on doors of republicans that voted in primaries. i did not talk to anybody else for 18 months. my kids, my wife, a little bit, but outside of that -- but t

obama create his legacy which i'm sure he does not want to go down as the president that bankrupted america. so all of us around this table, regardless of our political stripes, have a great vested interest in helping him make sure that doesn't happen. and, of course, the role all of us can play in deciding what do we want to spend our government money on and be an influence so we can have our voices heard as to do we really want to send $55 million to indonesia to help improve the infant mortality rates in indonesia when we have babies here who could probably benefit from the same expenditure? i think that's about enough said. we're delighted to be a part of the american dream. i came out of the army with $800 of cumulative leave play, and the lord blessed it to get into sell of $100 million of net worth, and the success i've enjoyed comes from, i believe, three things. one is the fact that the workers or that god put in my life, 70 people who helped me pick stocks, interact with the clients and, secondly, was a hospitable governmental environment. you had a taxation and a regulato
